Training is broken down into 3-phases. Each phase contains 3-lessons We have found that by breaking down the material into different phases, our students are able to understand and retain most of the information presented.

Phase 1: is our preliminary course designed for those with no prior knowledge of the California public works requirements. Here is where you will be introduced to terms, key players, and your overall responsibility as a contractor.

Lessons: Introduction to Public Works, Getting Started, Compliance Forms

Phase 2: is where we dive into the compliance requirements placed on us by the State of California. We take you online and teach you how to navigate the DIR website. We go over all the key components - proper wages, certified payroll, and fringe benefits.

Lessons: Prevailing Wages, Fringe Benefits, Payroll Reporting

Phase 3: join us for phase 3 to continue your education. During this course, we go into details about training fund contributions and those pesky apprenticeship requirements.

Lessons: Training Fund Contributions, Apprentice Regulations, Audits and Penalties

Federal add-on class is an optional add when taking the California Public Works Administrator Course.  This is designed as an add-on course only to explain the different between federal and state public works compliance.

This course will go into detail on how a company can maximize its profits on public works projects by taking credit toward the prevailing wage amount for company benefits that are being provided​.

• Includes Fringe Benefit Analysis template for easy computation of credit amounts and remaining wages. Have an expert complete the template for you so you can take immediate credit toward your prevailing wage requirements

Prime contractors can be held financial responsible for non-compliant subcontractors.  This course will go into detail on how Prime Contractors and Subcontractors who use Sub-Tiers can monitor and manage their responsibility to ensure strict compliance is being met.
