Jobsite Postings
Some documents are specific to your company, such as:
Other documents are generalized and can be found on the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) website. These include:
1. Create several different binders and place them in a central location in your office. When your crew is assigned to a Public Works project, have them grab a binder.
2. Have the binders returned.
3. Update the binders on a regular basis (at least monthly)
4. In the front of the binder, have the information that does not change or does not
change often. (Contractor's License, DIR registration, worker's comp, job-site posters, etc)
5. Use tabs at the back of the binder to tab out for individual projects. This is where you can keep the wage determinations and the redacted certified payrolls.
The job-site binder is there for the employees. The employees must be aware of the binder and where to locate it. It is becoming common practice for compliance personnel tasked by the DIR, awarding body or the union to come to the job-site and ask to see this information.
